Azura Bermuda

Azura Bermuda

10/10 Excellent
"Azura was a very nice hotel! Friendly ans helpful staff. We liked the different pool options, the many sitting areas with beach chairs, and the amazing views from everywhere. The food at Surf was good (same menu at lunch and dinner). As others have noted, the beach is a little difficult to access at high tide and on a windy day the waves were too big to swim safely, but the oceanside infinity pool was a great alternative. My only complaint would be that our room didn’t have a proper balcony, just sliding glass doors that opened to a railing, but you couldn’t actually sit outside, and there were no chairs in the room or space beside the bed so that you could sit in front of the window. There are only a handful of rooms like this on the property without a balcony and if we stayed again (which we would!), I would ask for a different one."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Devonshire Parish?
For those visiting Devonshire Parish, the most convenient and pleasant areas to stay are generally along the South Shore Road, particularly around the beaches.

This area is characterised by its proximity to some of Bermuda's most beautiful pink sand beaches, including the famous Elbow Beach. Hotels here often offer direct beach access or are just a short walk away. The main road, South Shore Road, connects you easily to other parishes and attractions, ensuring convenience without being overly busy.

Couples looking for a relaxing beach holiday will find this area ideal. You'll be able to enjoy strolls along the coast, sunbathe, and dine at hotels with ocean views. The natural beauty of the coastline provides a wonderful backdrop for a break.

Families will also appreciate the South Shore Road area. Access to the beaches means children have plenty of space to play, and many resorts offer amenities suitable for all ages, such as swimming pools and organised activities.
When is the best time to go to Devonshire Parish?
The best time to go to Devonshire Parish, Bermuda, for pleasant weather and fewer crowds is during the shoulder seasons of April to May and September to October.

During these months, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 25°C, which is ideal for exploring the parish's natural beauty and enjoying outdoor activities without the peak summer heat or humidity. The sea is also warm enough for swimming and watersports.

Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find these periods particularly appealing. You can enjoy the scenic walking trails, like those found in the Devonshire Marsh area, or visit the tranquil Botanical Gardens without the larger crowds of summer. Many hotels also offer better value during the shoulder seasons compared to the high summer months.

Families travelling with children might also appreciate these times, as the weather is agreeable for beach days at places like Devonshire Bay Beach, but the beaches are less crowded, offering a more relaxed atmosphere for little ones to play.
